Tournament Golf is one of the rare things in life that allows 2 people to experience the same moment of success simultaneously. The player of course, makes the shots, but it is the Caddy who provides vital information for him to do so. In no other sport, does such responsibilty and shared glory exist, and for this reason only those with the right attitude and approach can make it.
A survey of the caddies on tour at the moment would reveal a broad cross section of people in the job. All types of people from good players who didn't quite make it to burnt out Wall street executives are involved in caddying, making it an opportunity truly open to everyone.
But how do you go about it? What do you need to know in order to do the job right? You'll find the answers to all the questions you've ever had about it right here.
"Caddying isn't a difficult job, but it is difficult to do well." - Nick Price
You'll find out the work you have to do in order to be prepared to caddy on any golf course in the world.
What I offer you is the right knowledge, so you can begin to put into practise at any course the set of skills required to be a Professional Golf Caddy.
What Makes Me Such An Expert?
The information in the ebook has been gathered over the last 22 years. I have made all the mistakes, done all the research and learnt many things from caddying, so that you won't have to do any of it. You will walk up to the Caddy Master on any Golf Course empowered with the knowledge to do the job. As I'm sure you are aware, there is a lot more to it than just picking up a golf bag. Your attitude and the way you come across will make a big difference as to whether you get repeat jobs and how much they pay you. I also know that once you have developed the right attitude and have the professionalism required, you will be asked to caddy for the same players again and again. I have met many caddies who meet the same players at the same tournament year in, year out.
I've been playing golf since I was 7 years old. My late Father was a Golf Professional and I Caddied for him in my first tournament at the age of 10. I have caddied for Pros in Tour School, Tournaments, Pro-Ams and other events on numerous occasions and have been around the game and the people who play it for almost my whole life. I have met many experienced Caddies and have learned a great deal from their stories about the job. And I've met some of the top players in the world and also some of the most successful businessmen.
And you get to discover in 3 minutes what took me all these years.
When I was 17 and playing a lot of golf, all my friends at the time were golfers and had dreams of playing golf professionally. There was one guy, whose parents had a successful importing business, which meant he didn't have to work so he could concentrate on his golf.
He was a successful junior golfer but was having a tough time of it in his early 20s. He tried everything under the sun - lessons, video analysis, etc, but he never studied about caddying or course management.
Playing golf with a caddy is one thing, but playing golf AS a caddy is a huge advantage. The things you have already been doing come naturally, the only difference is that you now execute the shot. Maybe you are like my friend and just want to improve your golf game. This information will also be very usefult for you.
With the right knowledge, you'll soon develop the confidence you need to be an effective caddy.
If you don't seem confident in what you are saying/doing, what chance does the player have? The secret to caddying I think, can be summed up as follows:
It's about having the confidence in your skills and approach to do the best job possible.
In the ebook, I take you step by step through the process of caddying. Everything you need to know from the moment you pick up the clubs in the car park to the moment you drop them off at the end of the round is covered.
If I was a person interested in becoming a professional Caddy and was reading this page, I would expect the ebook to contain information about...
